Email signature
If you would like to help promote this year's Open Farm Sunday then why not add an animated signature, like the one below, to your emails. It's simple to do, and only takes a moment.

Step 1
Open the signature file, and then press "ctrl" on your keyboard and the letter "a" at the same time, then press "ctrl" and the letter "c" (this has copied the whole signature ready to add to your email software.)
Step 2
Open the "signature tool" within your email programme and then simply paste the animated logo and text in. The method for doing this will vary depending on your email software, but in Outlook for example, you need to:
1. go to tools,
2. go to options,
3. then select mail format from the top of the dialogue box,
4. then select signatures.
5. Once you are in the signature dialogue box, select New, to create a new signature file,
6. give it a name, for example "Open Farm Sunday" (In Outlook 2003 you will then need to click "next")
7. then click in the box for the new signature text, and press "ctrl" and "v". You should now see the tractor in the box.
8. That's it. Then, depending on your email programme, you will need to click on Finish/Apply/OK to save your changes.
Step 3
Use the Open Farm Sunday signature! You can either make the signature your default signature to add it to every email you create (there will be a setting for this in the "signature tool" mentioned above), or you can select to do this on an individual basis.
note: If you use Microsoft Outlook 2007 you will only see a static OFS logo as the email signature. But don't worry, anyone you write to who has a different email programme will still be able to enjoy it!
